Our members benefit from opportunities to meet with one another in their immediate communities. The DSG currently supports 9 community groups that are led by dedicated parent volunteers. Groups customize their offerings based on the needs of their participants.

The benefits of our community groups include :

  • Providing a forum for discussion of common fears and concerns
  • Alleviating feelings of isolation and helplessness
  • Providing valuable insights and advice
  • Building successful coping skills
