  • Everyday Autism Miracles - A non-profit grant organization designed to strengthen, financially assist and inform families and communities about children with autism. 

Horse Therapy 

  • Pretty Pony Pastures - Learn the joy of horseback riding. Providing safe, enjoyable riding lessons for persons of all abilities. 

  • O.A.T.S. - Promotes the health, well-being and happiness of handicapped individuals through horseback riding and related activities. 

  • Banbury Cross -  Banbury Cross Therapeutic Equestrian Center has been established to better the quality 
    of life for people with special needs through therapeutic equestrian activities. The center provides the opportunity for each rider to develop to his or her greatest potential. Through training and involvement of staff and volunteers, Banbury Cross 
    also hopes to strengthen understanding of people with special needs.

  • Building Bridges Therapy Center - A "full-service" pediatric clinic, staffed by a team of caring, experienced professionals in the fields of Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration, Physical Therapy and Education. 

  • Como Pediatric Communication Center - Specializes in the treatment of speech and language disorders for toddlers and school age children. 

  • Dance of Partnership - Janice Fialka, MSW, ACSW is a national trainer, presenter, and advocate on issues related to disability. 

  • Disability is Natural - Ready for some good news about people with disabilities? Discover a new way of thinking about disabled people, learning disabilities and physical and mental handicaps. 

  • Friendship Circle - Provides programming and activities designed to foster a relationship between community teenagers and children with special needs. 

  • Kauffman Children's Center for Speech, Language, Sensory-Motor & Social Connections, Inc. - Provides specialized speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy and sensory integration services. 

  • Kids in Motion - Provides pediatric physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy. 

  • Leaps and Bounds Therapy Services - Offers a team approach providing quality physical, occupational, speech, and massage therapy. 

  • Lekotek - A program dedicated to helping terminally and chronically ill children, as well as those with genetic disorders, under the age of 21, find happiness and companionship through emotional and spiritual healing, using the horse.  

  • Love & Learning - Technique and materials (DVDs, audio tapes, books and computer programs) help infants and toddlers with language and reading development.

  • Milstein Pediatric Speech & Language Services, Inc. - The clinic offers speech and language therapy in a comfortable, "kid friendly" setting; including one-on-one intensive treatment, tandem treatment and group sessions. 

  • Miracle League - A charitable organization that provides children with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league.

  • Community Living Services of Oakland County - A private, not-for-profit organization promoting inclusion, full citizenship and a self-determined life for people with developmental disabilities. 

  • Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority - OCCMHA's mission is the advancement of social equality and improved quality of life for people with developmental disabilities. 

  • Oakland County Parks & Recreation - The 13 Oakland County Parks offer nearly 60 miles of trails and natural landscapes for year-round recreation, including five golf courses, two waterparks and nature centers. 

  • Social Security Administration - The Social Security Administration's mission is to advance the economic security of the nation's people through compassionate and vigilant leadership in shaping and managing America's Social Security programs.
